All of my other CS6 plugins continue to work. The file naming bug is a bit annoying, but other than that - and the fact that I lost one outdated plugin and some saved styles - it is working as smoothly as CS6. Update: Well, I just bit the Adobe bullet and paid a year’s subscription for the Lightroom/Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 bundle. If you shut down the Terminal app, CS6 shuts down as well, because it is a process running via the Terminal. While you can minimize the Terminal window to the Dock, you CANNOT shut down the Terminal app while you are using - or at least trying to use, in my case - the Adobe Photoshop CS6 app. However, even if I remove all of the plugins from my "Plugins" folder and relaunch CS6, it still continues to beachball.ĭo you know any way around this problem, or do I just have to bite the bullet and pay for CC 2019?Īlso, for those of you who may not know this, when you use BrazilianBoa's method, it actually launches the Terminal app. I thought that the problem might be caused by one of my plugins trying to load. BrazilianBoa, I just installed the official release of Catalina, and while your method does work to launch Adobe Photoshop CS6 - I put an alias of the binary on my desktop for ease of use - it just beachballs and is unusable.
